Preschool and airplanes

Reagan had her last day of preschool on Thursday of last week. This is her with Ms. Williams. We will miss her, but hopefully Grant will have her in a year or two.
And her with the volunteer assistant Mawmaw.  Reagan just loved her and when she picked out a gift for her she chose wind chimes with chicken on top. I tried to get her to change her mind, but she said "no Mawmaw will love these." And guess what she did! I didn't know, but she collects wind chimes and didn't have a chicken. :-)
Later that day we went to a small airport to see some planes. We have friends that own one.
The kids got to sit in them.

We also go to see them take off. Grant was a little scared and stood so close to me.
They also got to see some of their friends. And of course love each other.

Mother's Day haircuts and hospital

So this week the kids came home with the presents they made me for Mother's Day. Since this is both of their first years in pre-k this is the first time I got something they made me, except for the normal card daddy helps them make. Reagan made me a flower with her little face in it. So cute!!

And Grant made me this little tile with his hand print. I need to find something to hang it up.

I got sick on Saturday the 6th and spent 3 days in the hospital for pancreaitits. I was home with Grant and Scott had Reagan about to get her hair cut. I was vomiting and texted Scott to come home right away. Shortly after he got here I told him I needed him to take me to the hospital because the pain was too much for me to take. When I got there I also broke out with a rash so they think it was all caused by an allergic reaction to a change in medications. So strange, but I'm fixed now except for some pain when I eat still. It should get better in a couple weeks.

Scott had the kids for 3 days by himself. He's wonderful and a very great daddy. He did say that he agrees driving Grant around to therapies and both of them back and forth to school is a pain in the butt and something he doesn't want to do. He understands why I can't get much done when we have days where all we do is run.

Before I got sick I had taken Grant to get a haircut, a dramatic haircut. He's always so hot in the summer and I didn't want him to be miserable. Everyone who sees him has to take a double take. I almost cried as she cut it off. He looks so big now. He's no longer my baby!
Before...
After...

After all of that Scott and the kids are redoing Mother's Day for me tomorrow. They are all wonderful!!

Potty training and replacing the deck

This last weekend we worked on our deck. Well Scott did more than I did, but I supervised. We got the floor done and two sides of the rails. We love the new black rails. We will be finishing it up this weekend. The kids were so exhausted because they played outside all day.

Grant has also been potty training. I bought him some boxer briefs and they are so cute.  He wanted them because they had balls on them.

Then he turned around and shook his butt for me.
I've also had to start picking Grant up before nap at school because he won't sleep. When I went there today he kept trying to tell me "bye bye mommy" so that I would leave.
