I know I am a little behind on this. It has been a crazy month!
Thanksgiving was great, we went to Scott's mom's house and then came home to decorate the tree. We did all the work because the kids found all the Christmas books when Scott brought out the decorations.
They did help with some ornaments and loved to look at the finished product.
During break we also went to Monkey Joe's (a bouncy place) with Diana and her kids. As you can tell I took this picture at the end when they were all sweaty and Grant was soaking wet from "drinking" from the water fountain.
I tried to take pictures of the kids for Christmas cards. Grant didn't really think it was a good idea so he wouldn't help. Reagan wanted too, but she just kept being a goofball.
I made the kids a tree out of felt with felt ornaments that they could decorate themselves. It took a lot of work, but they liked it. I went ahead and made one for Vicki's kids too.
Grant had a program for his school. His class only sang one song. I thought it was amazing to get six 3 year olds to sing one song at the same time. Well they didn't sing all the song, but it was still really cute. They were suppose to wear a Santa hat, but of course Grant wouldn't. His teacher asked if he was afraid of hats because he was so adamant. I told her that he must consider that a clothing item and for some reason it is not ok with him.
Scott's work had their Christmas party at the Predators hockey game. The kids were so excited and talked about it all day. When we got there Grant was mesmerized by the guys practicing on the ice and Reagan was loving all the food available. Then a big saber tooth tiger head came down to the ice for the players to skate out of. Grant lost it and was scared have to death. We only got to stay for 1 1/2 periods and that took bribing him with a new hockey stick and a puck. He sat there the whole time holding on to my arm. Here he is with the stick and puck.
The next day when we talked to him about it and asked him if he liked the hockey game he said "yes, but the tiger balloon was scary. No more hockey games. Me want to go to football game." Reagan got to be on the big screen eating cotton candy and got so excited. The game was "free", but after parking, souvenirs, and cotton candy we spent $60 at that free game. I told Scott he can go with his friends when he wants, but it's gonna be a while before I take Grant again.
