So Wednesday I had to take Reagan to Vanderbilt for her eye appointment. I wanted to take her up there since she isn't always 100% sure about her letters and I wanted someone who was familiar with kids. The place was great and it even had free valet parking! Reagan actually got to be in a study using a new tool like the one she was tested with at school that referred her there. She really enjoyed having it done and that fact that it was just her and I. (Scott stayed home with Grant and took him to gymnastics.) After all that we found out she does need glasses. One eye is 20/40 and the other 20/50. She doesn't have to wear them all the time if she doesn't want to, but at school and watching TV it would be helpful.
We took her today to pick out her glasses. She was such a diva picking them out. Scott was getting his eyes examined and we had to wait for him, but she had 6 pairs picked out and want to know why she couldn't get more than one pair. :-) She finally settled on a pair of purple/pink ones and should have them in 2 weeks. They had to be sent off to be made since they are so small. She's pretty excited about it since her cousins (Garret and Chris) have them too.
Grant is repeating a ton of stuff we are saying. He's so cute trying to name colors for everything. For a couple months it has only color he has known is blue. He says everything is blue, but today he started saying orange. Not really orange, but his version of orange. He even suprised his speech therapist. He's also been saying some animal sounds neigh, neigh and moo. He's babbling all the time now and we are cherishing every moment of it. It seems weird to be so excited about this stuff when he is almost 2 1/2, but it really is exciting to us!
